Founded in 2005, Trackspeed Racing has made incredible inroads into the competitive world of Sportscar racing in a short time.
Competing in the British GT Championship and Porsche Carrera Cup in 2005 it proved a year of rapid lessons for Trackspeed and their fierce ambition became apparent to all.
Ambitious plans were put into practice in 2006 when the team fielded a three car squad into the British GTC Championship. The confidence of the team soon proved well founded as they dominated the GTC Class. Racking up 8 wins, 12 podiums including a spectacular 1-2-3 at Snetterton, the team took the GTC Constructor's Championship with ease whilst drivers Jonny Lang and Matt Allison took the Drivers' spoils with team-mate Ryan Hooker as runner up by a single point.
For 2007 saw Trackspeed up the ante once more as they made the step up to the FIA GT3 European Championship as well as a returning presence in the British GT Championship. Their dedication was rewarded with Richard William's sealing the FIA GT3 Porsche Manufacturer's title.
In 2008 the team will field in FIA GT, FIA GT3 and British GT in what is set to be an action packed year.
With the core support at factory level and in the race team from Ricki Martino and Warren Tirrel, the team are a strong unit.
